Installing a Breeze Player is simple! Just plug in an HDMI-supported screen, Internet connection and power. The Breeze Player will automatically connect and report to the Breeze server in the cloud.
Physical Connections
Ethernet
Connect an Ethernet cable to Ethernet ( #2 ) on the Breeze Player.
- Video Output
- Connect the HDMI cable to HDMI ( #1 ) on the Breeze Player.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to a monitor, television screen or video distribution system.
- Power
- Plug the power cord into the Breeze Player ( #3 ).
- Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
Playback of demo content begins as soon as a player is provided with power and connected to a screen. The player must be online and in communication with the Breeze server to change the playback content.
The Players tool is the interface between users and the Breeze Players, where users can review and edit player information and operations. Each player is represented by an icon in the Players tool. Each player icon has a green or red indicator, signaling at a glance if the player is online.
A few minutes after the physical connections are complete, the player will come online and the player icon turns green. A user can change the playback content by altering the selection in the Schedule field. Altering the selection in the Schedule field will not effect an offline player!
New playlists must be packaged in a schedule to be delivered to the player. The Breeze Quick Start Tutorial - Part II tutorial provides more information about schedules and the Players tool.
If the player does not come online after a few minutes, the player is most likely not connecting to the Internet. Network connectivity can be verified on the Android Launcher dashboard.

When both the Ethernet Status and the Wi-Fi Status are “Unconnected,” the Breeze Player is offline and unable to receive updates from the server.
Updates from the server include changes in content, playlists, schedules, and more.
