SignWave Quick Start Guide

This Signwave Hardware QuickStart Guide works for all SignWave models currently offered by Keywest Technology, including the Pro and Slim.

To power on your SignWave device, you need to connect it to a power source. There are two options for this process:

1. Power over Ethernet (PoE+): If your network infrastructure supports PoE+, you can connect the SignWave device directly to a PoE+-enabled switch or router using an Ethernet cable. The device will receive power through the Ethernet connection.

2. DC power source: Alternatively, you can use the DC power source provided in the accessories kit. Connect one end of the power cable to the DC input port on the SignWave device and the other end to a suitable power outlet. Ensure that the voltage and current rating of the power source match the device's requirements.

Once you connect the SignWave device to a power source, it will power on and be ready for use. It will automatically start playing demo content. However, it's important to note that this doesn't mean your device is connected to your network. This is because all devices are shipped with pre-loaded demo content.

The next step will be to confirm that your device is connected to your network. If you are using PoE+, the device should receive a network connection from the Ethernet cable automatically.
