End-of-Life: Stop & Start the MediaZone Pro Player Software

To stop the MediaZone Pro Player software, you will need to connect a mouse and keyboard to the player or establish a remote connection to the player.

1.  Click the Escape key on your keyboard and right-click on the mouse until the MediaZone Pro Player desktop displays.

2. Once the MediaZone Pro Player software has stopped, you'll also need to stop the Background Application to prevent the software from restarting automatically.  To stop the Background Application, double-click on the Stop Background App desktop icon.

Note: A command prompt window will flash when the Background Application is successfully stopped.

  

3. To be sure the Background Application has been stopped, check for an icon in the system tray indicating the application is still running.  If there is no MediaZone Pro icon in the system tray, the application has successfully been stopped.

Restart the MediaZone Pro Player Software

1.  To restart the Background Application, double-click the Start Background App desktop icon.

2.  Double-click the MediaZone Pro desktop icon to start playback immediately.
